A) What is DSE?
If you have Pursued Diploma (Polytechnic) you can also get job as Junior Engineer or Diploma Trainee. And if one wants to pursue further education, he/she can directly enter the second year of engineering.
B) How to Get admission in DSE (Criteria to get admission in direct second year engineering?)
The final year marks of your diploma is considered to get admission in engineering through Diploma (Polytechnic).
It means to see the 5th and 6th semester totals of your diploma. If your final year is good overall, you will get a good college
C) How many seats for direct 2nd year engineering admission after diploma?
There are some limited positions in the second straight year of engineering. Since 2019, the number of places to get admission in engineering by diploma has increased from 20 to 10.
This means that before 2019 the direct second year diploma holder had 20 seats for each college, but if this is reduced by 10% from 2019, then at present there are only 10 seats for each college. Each of these 10 seats has a different location.
